Susan Reid’s dot paintings mesmerize!

Influenced by Byzantine tile work, aboriginal art, bead work and fabric design, Susan Reid’s new paintings are comprised out of hundreds individual dots.

4, 5 an 6.

Some of her pieces are more organic, some more patterned, but all of them captivated the many visitors who came to her opening reception last Friday.

Susan Reid’s pieces were paired with some brand new ceramic vessels by Elizabeth Fritzsche, standing to the left of gallery assistant Pamela DiMauro.

Persistent Memory

Forgiveness

Matrix Fine Art also welcomes new gallery artist Jacklyn St. Aubyn, whose intricate layered paintings drew a lot of attention during the reception.

Promise

St Aubyn lives and works in Las Cruces and her career spans more than 25 years.

Thank you everybody for coming to our November reception. We will see you again next month for our UNDER 500 Holiday show!
